General Waste Skip Bag FAQ's
Skip Bags v Skip Hire
Whether you decide to order a Skip Bag or a Skip will depends on your waste disposal requirements.
Skip Bags are the preferred option for smaller projects where space is limited for a temporary Skip to be located, and projects with less budget as Skip Bags are generally cheaper.
Equally, Skip Bags provide more flexibility if you’re removing waste from several locations, as the Skip Bag can be transported easily.
Skip Bags can be kept around the house to be used on multiple occasions (if not collected).
What Can Go In A Skip Bag
The materials that you put in the Skip Bag will depend on which type you have ordered.
Generally, the same materials that would be allowed in one of our skips, will be allowed in our Skip Bags, albeit in smaller quantities/ sizes.
We offer a wide range of Skip Bags which individually allow you to dispose of the following waste materials: general waste, green/ garden waste, cardboard and paper, plastic, metal, hardcore, wood, plasterboard and inert waste types.
If you need to dispose of Asbestos, we also offer a bespoke Asbestos Skip Bag
Are Skip Bags Cheaper than Skips?
This reduction in size, also comes with a reduction in price. Skip Bags start at just £16.66 + Vat.
Skip Bags are a good way to stick to lower budgets whilst saving space simultaneously.
Although Skip Bags appear a cheaper option, it’s important to ensure that it will be sufficiently big enough for the volume of waste you’re disposing of. Otherwise, Skip Hire might be a better option.
